259701 - plugin finder hangs if Software Install is disabled in Web Features

When I try to install plugin, the plugin finder service wizards is doing all
steps , but waits unfinitevely in the one of the last steps. 

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
0. assume that you haven't flash installed on firefox
1. go to the site with flash
2. click on the "click here to download plugin"
3. wait a little while and PFS tell you that Macromedia Flash Player 7.0.25.0 is
available
4. click next
5. license. select "I agree" and click next


Actual Results:  
Message "Firefox is installing plugins" stands forewer. 

Expected Results:  
Should download plugin and install it.

Got the same problem, but on WinXP.

 using MOFF 1.0

I can confirm that this bug also exists in Firefox 1.0PR for WinXP.

Confirming. This happens when you have Software Install in the Web Features
preferences panel disabled.

setting flags.  p3 because this will only affect advanced users.  The bug lies
in the xpcom interfaces toolkit uses to install XPIs most likely.

I suspect this ancient bug is no longer valid, and PFS is due to be removed shortly.
