Details
this is an odd one... i don't have this problem when accessing the same dialog
from the menu: Tasks > My Wallet > Wallet Contents... occurs on all 3 platforms
(win somewhat differently):
linux comm, 2000-01-31-14
win NT comm, 2000-01-31-08 (note: bug 25833 still there)
mac comm, 2000-01-31-11
0. first see if you can access Wallet Contents via the menu bar. ie, go to Tasks
> My Wallet > Wallet Contents... make sure that the dialog appears, after which
just hit Cancel.
1. open prefs: Edit > Preferences...
2. select Advanced > Wallet category.
3. click "View Wallet Entries" button.
4. Wallet Contents dialog appears --attempt to select anything or to close it
w/OK or Cancel buttons.
results: on linux and mac, the Wallet Contents dialog just stays open,
unresponsive: need to close w/window widget or escape via macsbug
(respectively). on windows, the Wallet Contents dialog doesn't even appear when
trying to access from prefs.
expected: shouldn't matter how you access this dialog --should still appear and
respond to mouseclicks.

This is working fine for me on windows as of a tree that I build last night.
There were several fixes in dialogs in the past couple of days which might have
been the cause. Marking as works-for-me. Reopen if you are still seeing the
problem.

also noticed that this affects the Signon Viewer (ie, if you get to it from
Preferences).
put on beta1 radar.
feel free to dispute the dogfood label -- i marked it as such since autofill
stuff will still remain in Prefs (correct me if i'm wrong here).
Keywords: beta1

It seems strange that it would just be these two. Do any other dialog boxes
have this problem. Cookie viewer? Pref panel? etc.
Does this happen when you access the dialogs from the pref panel or from the
menu or both?

it occurs *only* when accessed from the Preferences. selecting from the menu is
fine.
as for the Cookie Manager --it just comes up blank and freezes seamonkey--
whether i bring it up from from the Prefs or the menu. this, however, sounds
like a different issue. d'you know if this already has a bug associated w/it?

How many cookies do you have? Look in cookies.txt to find out. If more than 7,
you are hitting bug 25432. To verify, delete some cookies using a text editor
so that the total is 7 or less and see if the problem goes away. Of course you
have to do this when the browser is not running.

OK, from what you are describing (viewers work fine from menu, can't be
dismissed from pref panel), I realize that this is a dup of 24890. That report
is closed but I'll reopen it.
