There was no problem with the trunk version firefox 20040915.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open URL
2. The wheel button is scrolled.

Actual Results:
A page does not scroll.

Expected Results:
A page scrolls.

Mac OS X 10.3.5
2004091821 (v0.8+)
Is this a regression? Did it ever work? Is it only this website? Does it work in
firefox?
Summary: wheel scrolling does not work. → wheel scrolling does not work
sorry, I do not know whether it is regression...
It has displayed and noticed by Camino for the first time.

And although noticed now, a title (upper part of a menu) moves gradually.
Firefox scrolls satisfactory.

In other Webs, this problem has not been encountered yet.
new url:
http://firefox.geckodev.org/
Caonfirmed using 2004092608 (v0.8+) NB.
Using FireFox 20040926 Firefox/0.10 scrolling works.

What I notice is that when I use the scroll wheel is that only the top graphic
is scrolled (the part where is says Firefox まとめサイト).

It looks as if the top part steels mouse focus even if the mouse is over other
regions.

This page makes heavy use of CSS, perhaps the CSS regions break scrolling
somehow. I'm quite sure that it worked with older versions of Camino.

Thinking further this might also be the reason why scrolling doesn't work with
the PDF plugin (-> #180592 ).

Wheel scrolling works 100% for me on this page with 081.
Yea it works in 081 but not in the trunk builds.
maybe once i'll read a bug before actually commenting ;)

do we have a date on which this broke?

Ok well it's the position:fixed; tag that is causing the problems.
I searched for this in bugzilla but nothing showed up.

I recall a bug that was checked in a while ago for FF and Moz becuase they had
a similar issue, but I might be wrong.
