Is your Mozilla an official mozilla build or did you build it yourself?

In answer to comment 3, "I didn't" - I had to query bugzilla looking for
a Dup.

I could not fully support your amended RFE because the 'about:' page needs
to be brief and absolutely to the point, which in this case is to show the
precsie version and give a brief overview of the legals.

You could argue that the 'about:' page should have links to (or merely
a list of) all other about:* pages, and this I would support, but I don't see
that singling out about:buildconfig for special priority is likely 
to get very far

NO. we will not show configure options in about. almost no user will have the
slightest idea what they mean! remember that this is the page you get when
clicking help|about mozilla.
