firefox retry to authenticate ms proxy server for each page request. when I
request a new page, firefox show an proxy authentication dialog, but firefox
repeats that continously for each page request.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Connect any page onto a MS Proxy Server.
2. Proxy authentication dialog appears.
3. fill username and password in dialog and accept.
4. page shows. but again authentication dialog re-appears.
5. previous version of firefox had not this bug!
Actual Results:
I install an NTLM Proxy client to automatic authentication for Firefox to MS Proxy.
Expected Results:
Firefox should authenticate the proxy only once. I would like to automatic
authentication in firefox like Internet Explorer in Windows XP.

I have the same problem with the 1.0PR trying to authenticate proxy multiple
times per page view. It also tries to authenticate when clicking a link within
the same domain. I'm using Windows XP Pro with the latest PR of Firefox.
Versions prior to the 1.0PR didn't have this problem.

Found on this page: http://mozillanews.org/?article_date=2004-09-14%2003-39-44
In about:config
Change network.automatic-ntlm-auth.allow-proxies to false
By disabling NTLM, you get one authentication when the browser is first opened.
