Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Surf to http://braehame.com/weather/test.asp 2. Click on reload 3. Scroll down to see a blank line after "9/19/04 8:30a" Actual Results: Blank line after "9/19/04 8:30a". Did a "Save Page As..." and looked at the text file with a hexadecimal viewer, which showed an extra carriage return / line feed pair had been inserted. Expected Results: There should be no blank line between "9/19/04 8:30a" and "9/19/04 8:40a" The file test.asp is pure html; it contains no ASP code. It is identical to test.htm in the same folder. However, the bug is not manifested with test.htm. Also, I was unable to reproduce the bug when serving test.asp from my localhost (which is IIS with ASP).
Created attachment 159502 [details] Corrupted version of test.asp This file is the result of "Save Page As..." after encountering the bug.
Should have mentioned that the test case has <pre> ... </pre>, which may be relevant. -- Cameron
