Hi Rudolf, If you got the message from mailing list, is there any chance that you have sender's address in your address book? In that case, remote images are shown when relevant option ('Allow remote images if sender is in my...') is checked.

Haven't got those mails anymore, I'll have to check when I get new ones (list is not very active). Thanks for the hint!
