The two elements of the searchbar (the view dropdown and the new search textbox)
cannot be dragged to other toolbars when customizing.

I have just tried
thunderbird-1.6a1.en-US.linux-i686.tar.bz2      27-Sep-2005 09:44  9.0M 

and the Search Entry can still be the dragged, so this suggestion is likely to
still be valid.

This is working in 2b1.  In fact, there is no "search bar" any longer, the mailview and quicksearch became part of the standard toolbar in 1.5.  And, they can be dragged to the menu bar, if desired.

Hello Mike. Do you suggest that it should be possible to drag around in TB 1.5.0.8? Well, I just tried and was not able to. Did I miss something?

When is TB 2 planned to be released?
