DDE Message should be "%1",,-1,0,,,, DDE Topic should be WWW_OpenURL. After Firefox's uninstaller removed Mozilla as default HTTP handler (bug 249458), Mozilla didn't reset the DDE message when I set it back to the default browser. As a result, any links clicked in external applications launch a new Mozilla process, which then immediately terminates and causes the link to open in a new window of the existing process (as opposed to replacing an existing window/tab in the currently running process).
Product: Browser → Seamonkey
This fairly old bug may now be moot due to the changes in the Tabbed Browsing settings -- Seamonkey 1.0 matches Firefox 1.5 in providing specific options for where to open a URL from an external app -- which is to say, the DDE settings seem to be unimportant now. WFM?
