User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10 The URL above gives the address of a security web camera manufactured by Panasonic. Obviously it was designed for IE and works fine with IE. It would be nice if these could be made to work properly with Firefox as the main white goods guys are all making millions of these cameras available. I hope you can help with this. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Select the camera.. 2. 3. Actual Results: Sometimes we get a message "this page has no valid data" Expected Results: displayed the camera and allowed pan tilt operations

can you check bug 195193 and bug 167784 and dupe to it if you think it's the same issue ?
I am familiar with both of the cameras described, I cannot honestly say that this is the same thing or not. It is true to say that IE requires an activeX application. The problem we are seeing is that occasionally the camera simply fails to connect to fetch the images on startup. I shall leave the camera running to see if it freezes the same way as described in the other bug reports. If its of ay use we have examples of just about all the IP enabled cameras and can make them available on our network. CB
