Basically this is the testcase: <div style="position: absolute;"> <div style="position: absolute;display:table;left: 90px; top: 100px;"> <a href=#">Focusing this text causes all words to be rearranged at their own line</a> </div>

I can't see the problem. What version are you using? Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10

Hmm, my user agent string is not included in the report, this time. Anyway, here it is: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a4) Gecko/20040925 Firefox/0.9.1+ You'll see this happening in 1.8a builds. It happens because focus outlines now cause a reflow. This was introduced some time ago in trunk builds. I don't know the bug number right now. For similar bugs, see also bug 261196, which is depending on this bug.
