I have a application that uses a Chemdraw plugin (ActiveX). I have read
documentation where Chemdraw plugin works for Mozilla, so I am assuming that it
works for Firefox as well. The Browser fails to find the plugin, I tried copying
the DLLs into the plugin directory and restarting the browser/machine. None
work. The plugin I am trying to us is Chemdraw plugin 7.2.3. The code will
usually be like this;

<script language="JavaScript"> cd_insertObjectStr("<embed src='Test.cdx'
align='baseline' border='0' width='400' height='300' type='chemical/x-cdx'
name='cdp' id='2' >"); </script>

The "cd_insertObjectStr" is a script that Chemdraw provides, it is available to
the application. But this does not work with Firefox. How do I install this for
this browser. I really like this browser and want to use it and recommend to the
 place where I work. Any help would be appreciated.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Nothing really, if you have the plugin installed. The Chemdraw plugin has a
demo page that you can use.
2.
3.

Actual Results:
The browser cannot find or understand the plugin. No operations then work on
that page. Clicking on any buttons, etc do not work. The browser hangs.

Expected Results:
Shown the chemical structure using the plugin
Firefox does NOT have Acive-X.
There is an extension for it though.
If the 2 work together, well you can always try.
Make sure to backup your profile before you do.
If things don't work out you can simply use your backup profile
This is most likely a problem with Chemdraw instead of Firefox, but at the least
it's not a critical bug.

Chemdraw says it works in Mozilla, not a Mozilla issue.
