261937 - Fast find moves scrollbar arrows; scrolling down acts unusually

When Fast Find finds text and brings up the box at the bottom of the page, the
'scroll down' arrow on the right scrollbar moves up. I intended to scroll down a
few lines by hitting the scroll down arrow a few times quickly.

After the first click on the scroll down arrow it moved back to its original
position, now no longer under the mouse pointer. The second click scrolled down
a page because I was actually and unexpectedly clicking on the scroll bar.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. On any page with more than a page worth of text, use Fast Find to find text.
2. Before the Fast Find bar goes away, click twice on the scroll down arrow for
the scrollbar
3. Notice that after the first click, you are clicking not on the down arrow,
but on the scrollbar
Actual Results:  
I was at a different part of the page than I expected and had to re-search for
the text I was looking for.

Expected Results:  
Good question. A couple possible solutions:
1. When the Fast Find bar appears, don't move the bottome of the right scrollbar
with it.
2. Don't make the Fast Find bar disappear after the user uses the right scrollbar.

This is not an easy fix.

One simple solution would be to have the found item displayed at the center of
the screen instead of the last line. This way the user can see immediate context
without having to scroll, and if they still need to scroll it is likely that the
search box will have already disappeared.

Yes, fixing bug 286851 would make this less of a problem.
