When I connect to my organisation's mail server (iPlanet), I get an alert
message that "Mailbox is at 91% of Quota" if I am over 90%. Normally clearing
this Alert message only has to be done occasionally, usually on changing folder
view. In Thunderbird 0.8 the message appears repeatedly, every 2-3 seconds, and
continues even if the mail app is not in use. This has only started since
upgrading to 0.8 from the previous version. I uninstalled the previous version
properly first.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Thunderbird and log in to mail server
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Alert box reappears every 2-3 seconds. I have tried connecting with Netscape
instead, and the message only appears at login or folder view change.

Expected Results:
Only displayed the Alert message box at login, and on changing email folder view.

PC running XP service pack 2. The mail server I am connecting to is iPlanet.
Other mail clients don't behave in the above way, so it is something in Thunderbird.
