In mail.yahoo.com , I selected 3 attachements(total size less than 1MB) and hit
"Attach". Then the browser remains still displaying in status bar .... sending
request to site ...yahoo.....
In Iexplorer the same operation opens a page with a yahoo made progress barr for
uploading the files.

In gmail.com ,  I selected 1 attachement(total size <1 MB) and hit "Send". If I
remember correctly, almost the same behavior as in yahoo.

I don't know if it is browser's fault or the fault of the xeb site, but it
worked later in IExplore.
I like very much FireFox, but I can't switch each time to IExplore when
something doesn't work :(

I can't say anything about Yahoo, but in Gmail I attach 10Mb (accepted limit)
files fairly frequently.
