Rather, it should be incorporated into one of tabs in Tools | Page Info, as one of detailed properties of a page object. If Page Info stays under Tools menu (contrary to Bug 240384), then View | Page Source shouldn't be under View menu. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:

The current behaviour is in line with IE (the same reason why Options is under Tool and not Edit...). This should probably be WONTFIXed.
Component: View Source → Toolbars

(In reply to comment #1) > The current behaviour is in line with IE (the same reason why Options is under > Tool and not Edit...). This should probably be WONTFIXed. Um, then when does Firefox become 'better than IE' in its roadmap? Perhaps never? Or it's up to Mozilla Suite? How are other browsers (Opera/Safari/...) doing for the menu structure?

This has been WONTFIXed previously already. Opera also has Source under View, btw. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 201104 ***
