Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10 Build Identifier: Thunderbird version 0.8 (20040913) If you set a message to have a label, and then attempt to change the message's label to something else, it resets for a moment and then blinks back to what it was before. This also happened on Thunderbird 0.6 on a Windows 2000 system (sorry about not filing the bug then, life was pretty hectic then). I already have confirmation from another Thunderbird 0.8 user under Windows XP SP2 (same as my configuration here) that it works for him, though. I have checked file permissions on my mail directory on the server and they are all correct. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Label a message "Personal". 2. Attempt to re-label it "None". Actual Results: The message's label resets to "Personal". Expected Results: Kept the message's label set to "None".
are these local or imap messages?
Aha, that might well be the difference! They're IMAP messages.
Has anyone else attempted to reproduce this? I'm still seeing this in Thunderbird 0.9, in yet another (IMAP) account...
