The download manager has a button for accessing the options of the selected extension. It's titled "Options", apparently on every platform. On Linux it should be "Preferences", however, for the same reason options are accessible by Edit>Preferences on Linux and Tools>Options elsewhere. This is important, but I don't know if it's early enough to be done before 1.0. What's most important is that I know for sure what happens, because I'm currently editing Help documents to reflect the proper name for options on all platforms (which is actually relatively non-trivial), and I just noticed this anomaly and hope it doesn't have to remain an idiosyncrasy for 1.0. *Please assign this to me if you believe it should block the next release!* I can make the patch within a day. It shouldn't be difficult to do, but I won't commit myself to doing it now without knowing whether it would be accepted for 1.0 because I don't want to waste my time.

The button's no longer there, so there's no problem any more. -->WFM
