Discussion about size and visibility of firefox update button appearing on the
toolbar.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Just open browser and wait for and update
2.
3.
Actual Results:
The update button appearing in Firefox 1.0PR is not noticable. With the recent
security fix of FireFox about deleting download directory, I noticed that, i had
already update notification appeared but i haven't considered it till i have
read the slashdot article about it.
Expected Results:
In my honest opinion it should be UPDATE or some other bigger and more
attractive button at least for critical updates. I guess that icon's color/style
changes with the type of update actually.
It would be pretty helpful because lots of people using firefox won't be showing
attention to their gui as technical people does. Since that button is hidden on
most of times (hopefully) it won't be big deal to have bigger and even some
annoying button there. It would even encourage people to update fixes to get rid
of annoying button. That may be not necessary for complete browser updates but
definately for security fixes.
