(i will fil a separate bug for this). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
by the way, why is "completed" good when we have "confirmed"? an event, for example a conference might be confirmed to be in the future. the conference would be completed right after it has finished. this is an important differance.
According to section 4.6.1 of RFC 2445, which defines the properties a VEVENT component can have, "completed" is not listed so is not supported. Section 4.6.2 allows that in a VTODO ( task ) component. Although there might be a use case for it, since it is not standard we can't support it. The best way is to request this from the IETF to get it added to the standard which is unlikely.
