Not sure whether this is R&A pos or what, so filing in general for now.

Testcase coming up. Note that on initial reflow the abs pos box affects the
width of the parent, while on incremental reflow it does not. The latter looks
correct to me.

As far as I can tell, this is the issue biting that internal mail app mkaply and
Javier were talking to me about. My async restyle changes made some reflow be
incremental instead of initial, so the collapsed rendering ensued... The problem
is, if we fix it, I suspect the rendering will be collapsed for both initial and
incremental reflow. So it won't help the app any...
Boris, could you attach the testcase please.
Aaargh. I thought I had. :(

I no longer have the testcase; lemme try to recreate it....

The part with <table> is what the IBM site has, as far as I can tell. The
float is just to show that this is a general shrink-wrapping issue, not a
tables problem.
It seems to me like this is fixed in current trunk builds, not?
The testcase works fine for me too, 2005-06-05-02 on Linux.
It got fixed in the interval 2005-04-28-05 -- 2005-04-29-05, where bug 240276
would be my guess.

Can someone that has access to the IBM site/app that Boris refers to please test?

Yeah, fixing bug 240276 would have stood a good chance of fixing this.

mkaply, Javier, could you take a look?
Depends on: 240276
Severity: normal → S3
