Exactly the reverse expected behaviour. In FF0.9 it worked fine. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Allow cookies in preferences Actual Results: No cookies accepted Expected Results: cookies accepted And vice versa

The bug is also reproducible with Firefox 0.10.1 PR on Windows XP. I switched Hardware and OS to All. Gerd
OS: MacOS X → All
Hardware: Macintosh → All
Version: unspecified → 1.0 Branch

Are you perhaps using a translated build, with the meaning reversed for the checkbox text? Checking the box allows cookies, clearing it disallows cookies. WFM (and millions of other people)
In addition, I have found that cookies that are supposed to be permitted for "session only" do not get removed when Firefox is restarted. - Roy
