Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041004 Firefox/0.10.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041004 Firefox/0.10.1

When I install a nightly build over the 1.0PR (to preserve my settings), the
setup installs the standard plugins again. So I need to delete the again from
the directory to get rid of the onces I don't use.

Also existing search plugins are overwritten! I've edited the standard google
search plugin but these changes were lost. (I changed google.com to google.nl to
get the Dutch google interface :)

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Remove any of the standard search plugins from the directory
2. Edit an existing search plugin
3. Install Firefox over the existing copy

Actual Results:
The standard plugins you just remove are back and the standard onces are
overwritten.

Expected Results:
It should only the standard search plugins on a clean installation or when the
entire sub-directory is gone. Other existing options are not reverted to the
standard values.

You should not be installing Firefox over the old version. You can delete the
entire Firefox program directory without losing any of your settings.
