In Mozilla Firefox the speed is the same (slow)regardless of the distance of the cursor from the autoscroll indicator. Wrong. The scrolling speed changes, it's just not as fast as in IE. IMO, autoscroll in Firefox is much more convenient, but it is configurable, I think.
