User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10 StumbleUpon/1.998 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10 StumbleUpon/1.998 I use Firefox on my laptop and use it at home and in my office. At home, I connect without using a proxy server but in office I need to connect using a proxy server. Every day in the morning, I need to go and change my connection settings from "Direct connection to the Internet" to "Manual proxy configuration". Thankfully, it remembers the last proxy setting. Then again, in the evening, when I return home, I need to change the connection setting back again. However, it would be way cooler, if after the browser tries to connect using the current connection, it finds there are saved proxy settings and therefore, just throws up a dialogue asking whether it shd try using the proxy or not? Or better still automatically try with the proxy. This auto try can be available as a setting so that, for those who do not want this facility for any security reasons, then this can be an option. Similarly, if the proxy is enabled, then it should try without proxy if the connection does not go through. How cool is that ? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Enhancement request. Details above should be sufficient. Actual Results: Not applicable for enhancement requests Expected Results: Enhancement Request.
