User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040803 Firefox/0.9.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040803 Firefox/0.9.3 I installed (3 times) new version (10). First time I go online no problems. Second time, get a box saying my profile is in use. I created another profile went online closed Firefox and tried to restart Firefox. Got same Box: Profile is in use. Have to reboot everytime. Never happened with ver 8 9.0 9.3 THANKS Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.start ver 10 2.no problem 3.close Firefox 4.try to reopen Firefox 5.get box saying my profile is in use 6.needto reboot Actual Results: ewent back to version 9.3

didyou uninstall the previous version before installing the new one ?

There is a parent.lock file in your profile not getting deleted properly, then (when you close firefox). Have you tried a new profile?

a broken profile / appdir. Do a clean reinstall and a new profile.
