i think this is separate from bug 26305, since i need to do something more
drastic than merely hitting the New Add button then Cancel. found this using the
2000020215 non-comm bits on mac. if you thinks it's due to same regression, feel
free to dup...
to repro,
0. make sure your wallet is not empty. :-)
1. bring up the Wallet Editor from the menu, ie, Tasks > My Wallet > Wallet
Contents...
result: observe that the Wallet Editor dialog has nothing listed under "Field
name" or "Entries for field."
2. click the Add New... button.
result: nothing happens, the expected prompt dialog doesn't appear.
3. click near the top of the "Field name" list, so that a thin blue line
appears. this is definitely reminiscent of similar problems with the Select User
Profile dialog! cc'ing ben in case this might be related.
4. click on the blue line
result: sometimes you'll see the "Entries for field" listed in the other list.
however, nothing ever shows up in the "Field name" list.

I know enough about it to realize that it is probably not a wallet problem but
rather a platform-specific dialog problem. That's why I assigned it to Ben.
But maybe it's resolved by now. I just checked in a fixed bug 26305 which was
similar symptoms but occured cross platform. Sarah, can you check to see if
this bug got resolved as well.

I dont handle platform specific dialog problems. Any problem I cause in my work
would be XP.
Specific Dialog/Window issues go to danm@netscape.com (window behaving
improperly)
Widget issues should go to trudelle@netscape.com and he'll find the right person
to throw it to.

Sairuh, can we test to see if this is still the case. If so, let me know and I
will start hunting this down.

Wallet not in beta. Downgrading from PDT+.
Steve I am going to assign this to you with a hope that you might add more info
to this and assign to the appropriate group. Maybe even close it if this is working.

using comm bits from 2000-02-11-12, i can now view the lists in the Wallet
Editor. however, and this might be due to another bug (don't know the # offhand),
but i cannot see the Cancel and OK buttons for that dialog. please let me know
which bug # that problem would be...
