User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a4) Gecko/20040927

CRASH if I submit form on the site before the window with remembered
logins/passowrds appear. Freshmeat is the only site where I've this behaviour.

Thanks for the Greatest browser!

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to freshmeat.net
2. Register (if you need) and save login information
3. Restart Mozilla (not sure if needed)
4. Enter seaarch string fast and press enter, before the window with
logins/passwords appear.
5. See the crash.

Actual Results:
crash

Expected Results:
it shouldn't crash.

I have seen this behaviour with previous versions of mozilla, starting from 1.7,
but I don't remember if it was in earlier versions.
Please elaborate.

I can't reproduce the bug because I don't even understand what you're saying.

1. What do you mean "save login information"? Do the usual login process and
answer "yes" in the "Remember password" dialog?
2. What do you mean by "search string fast"?
3. Where is the "window with logins/passwords"?

I tried this and that way and I cant reproduce the bug in Mozilla/5.0 (Windows;
U; Windows NT 5.0; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10.1
Hmm.
Bad description I've just realized.
I mean the dialog, that appears if you have multiple identities on the site.
It's named "Select User". It is from Mozilla's password manager I suppose.
Dialog appears asynchronously.
So there is a small period of time, just before it appears, when you can close
Tab, for example, or change page (sumbit form), where there's no field (form)
for login information. The dialog appears and when you press "cancel" mozilla crash.
I've just realized that it's hard to reproduce. I cannon define exact steps for
now. But it crashes from time to time.
Steps I perform:
1 open freshmeat.net ( my example ) or any other site, you need to have multiple
identities. Freshmeat is good for this, because it loads not that fast.
2 Enter some text into search form
3 press Enter on the keyboard just before the dialog must appear.
4 press "cancel" on the dialog and Mozilla will crash.

So, from time to time these steps work.
I think this bug should be reassigned to "Password Manager".

Hope it will help.
Sorry for misleading.

Mats stack from talkback looked a lot like what I got for bug 263799, which
regressed after the reporter's build.

Andrew: Can you submit a talkback report for your crash?
