Attempted download caused virtual memory error. Two subsequent reboots got only as far as "Applying security..." and system started looping, based on disk activity light. After boot into safe mode, and chkdsk removing several unreadable folders in second partition (no previous errors there), system finally booted normally. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. System info: Windows 2000 Pro, build 2195, service pack 4free, all latest patches 300 MHZ Pentium II Total physical memory: 196136 KB Avail. physical memory: 110172 KB Total virtual memory: 667920 KB Avail. virtual memory: 511824 KB Page file: 471784 KB Disk free space: ~1.21 GB
the image is 50Mb in size so what's the supprise ? you could have crashed ;-) this same image was reported in another bug, can't find it though. report was that it downloads but won't render.
