Hi,

I have an extension titled Habari Xenu which is a RSS/Atom news aggregator built
in XUL.  I would like to get it listed in the updates.mozilla.org site.

The latest version released today (Oct 8th version 0.9.0) works on both Mozilla
and Firefox. The aggregator is available at http://habarixenu.mozdev.org/

Once the XPI file placed on the mozdev.org site has propogated (possibly in a
day) the URL to the xpi will be
http://downloads.mozdev.org/habarixenu/habarixenu-0.9.0.xpi

The mirror sites have caucht up and the XPI is available on mozdev.org mirrors
now. Please add this extension under the News category of Mozilla and Firefox as
soon as you can.

The name is Swahilii and can badly be translated into "Whats news (plural)?".

The author for this Queue item is wrong. It was accidentally left as "Alan
Starr" and not the extension author.

Invalid/Bad data is a very good reason not to approve it. The author name just
doesn't happen to be a cause for denial. so I left it to sit till it was fixed. :-)

It has been approved now w/ credit given to the right person. :-)

Thanks for your help in adding it, Alan and Wolf. One problem, though. It is
listed only as an extension for Firefox.

Habari Xenu works in Mozilla as well.  Could you please also include it under
category 'News' under Mozilla?

What versions of Mozilla does it work with? Looking at your original comment you
didn't specifiy what versions, just that it worked with Mozilla and no
clarification was asked for. Oops.

Hi,

I released version 0.9.1 of Habari Xenu a few minutes ago.  Please update the
listing on updates.mozilla.org pointing to the latest version of Habari Xenu
that are available at http://downloads.mozdev.org/habarixenu/habarixenu-0.9.1.xpi

Also, the author name in the updates.mozilla.org page is misspelled as 'Thats'.
 It needs to be changed to 'Thaths' (an extra 'h').

Hi,

Quick on the heels of version 0.9.1 I have released a bug fix version 0.9.2.
Once the mozdev.org mirrors have caught up, the extension should be available at
http://downloads.mozdev.org/habarixenu/habarixenu-0.9.2.xpi

Version 0.9.3 of Habari Xenu has been released. Please:

1. Update update.mozilla.org to point to the latest xpi (that can be fetched
from http://habarixenu.mozdev.org/installation.html)
2. Change the name of the author to 'Thaths'. It is currently misspelled as Taths.
