Details
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041008 Firefox/0.10 Pressing backspace does not take you back, like the Windows version. Instead the cursor disappears. I am kind of new to mac, so i thought that backspace was reserverd for something else, but it works as expected in Safari and Opera.

Camino does this.
I think that the backspace key is interpreted as typing which is why the cursor
is shielded.
Cmd-{ will take you back.to some, backspace is the opposite of space (which happens to be pagedown, making it pageup). the backspace as go back idea was a win ie-ism. i haven't tried it in mac ie, and you didn't specify. so... out of curiosity, what happens if you use backspace in macie?

on Mac/IE, Delete goes back a page, Shift-Delete goes forward a page.
Version: unspecified → 1.0 Branch
