User-Agent:       Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1

The default settings for the gap from edge of paper to margin
(File->Print->Properties) are too small and prevent the page headers/footers
from appearing on the printed page. The default setting on my computer was 0.08
inches; setting to 0.20 inches allowed the complete header&footer to be printed.

This problem is present in both Firefox 1.0 PR (Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686;
rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1) and Mozilla 1.7.2 (Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U;
Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.2) Gecko/20040803).

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.

Yes this bug is still here, I have been having to use Internet explorer
unfortunatly for our customers because firefox will not remember print margin
settings. Firefox's printing is very week in general. Open a print preview,
and press F5. Opps, you're stuck on print preview!
Anyhow the main reason, more like the only reason why we don't push firefox as
the browser of choice for web apps we write is because of the issue with
printing. Reports printed from web apps have to be consistant, and can't be
until these are fixed.

I am just waiting for this darn thing to be fixed so we can start telling all of
our clients to use firefox.

A few weeks ago we wrote a browser based application for UAB and Honda. It
would have been nice to have them all using firefox, but because of this bug...
