Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.2) Gecko/20040804 Netscape/7.2 (ax)
Build Identifier: Mozilla 1.6 and Mozilla 1.7

On several ocassions Mozilla 1.6 and 1.7 would open and the Folders I had
created within Local Folders would be gone. I could recover by copying the .sbd,
.msf and folder files in the Profiles Local Folder Directory to another
directory recreating all of the folders and copying the originals back in place
of the newly created files.
I upgraded from 1.6 to 1.7 and the problem continued so I switched to Netscape 7.2.

Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create Large Message Folders under Local Folders
2.Open and Close Mozilla Repeatedly
3.Check Message Folders under Local Folders

Actual Results:
On some occasions the Message Folders under Local Folders will not be visible
when you open Mozilla.
Netscape 7.2 is based on the same code as Mozilla 1.7, so they should be pretty
much the same. I've never heard of this happening before, so I don't know what
could be going on. The data is still in your folders, but Mozilla is not showing
you the folders in the UI? Are these top level folders or sub-folders of
top-level folders? How deeply nested are the sub-folders?
