User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040803 Firefox/0.9.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040803 Firefox/0.9.3 Vertical slice of the page turns gray when placing the cursor in one of the user-fill text fields; clicking on one of the check boxes on the right below the email address field restores the part grayed out temporarily Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Go to URL above (as long as it's still active); otherwise go to nytimes.com home page [requires registration at site] 2.Select a news story link randomly and go to it 3.Once at the story, select "email this article" link and go to it 4. Once at the email this article form page, place cursor in first text field (for email addresses of correspondents to receive article) 5. As soon as cursor is place in this text field entry box, the first vertical "slice" of the page turns gray. 6. To restore page art "grayed out" move cursor to check boxes below email address field and "feel around" for one of them and click on it... Actual Results: See above... Part of the screen turned gray when taking first steps and were restored when taking last step Expected Results: No part of the screen should turn gray (or any other color) Default settings...

WFM using Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Firefox/1.0.3 OS X.2.8: Was able to click into first text field and nothing on the page changed.
