Please add the extension mozCC to update.mozilla.org. XPI is at
http://yergler.net/projects/mozcc/releases/mozcc-0.9.0.xpi.

mozCC is compatible with both Firefox and Mozilla (SeaMonkey) 1.x.

Reassigning to default component owner because Jed and I are busy.

Moving these off my list of code bugs, I'll work on them as I get time, and i'm
working on getting some more editors to help out. :-)

These need to be verified to work properly with the 1.0PR / latest-nightly (if
it's for 1.0RC1). Feel free to test and comment, that'll help speed up the process.

Extension Installed Fine, but caused Firefox to fail to render a window upon
restart, running in safe mode and uninstalling fixed the problem.

Tested on Win32 w/Firefox 1.0PR. This only seems to happen when jsLib
(http://jslib.mozdev.org) is not installed. I just realized I forgot to note
that in my initial bug report. Sorry. I believe the install.rdf contains the
appropriate em:requires declaration, but I don't know if those are honored yet
or not.

The lack of jsLib seems to cause the failure as the browser overlay contains a
script tag referring to a jsLib resource. I was unable to find a way to trap
exceptions in XUL, but if anyone can point me to a resource, I'll willingly (and
happily) fix the code so that mozCC disables itself if jsLib is not installed.

Alternatively, is it considered better practice to bundle jsLib with the
extension, or is there a way to explicitly install two extension jars in
different locations with a single install.rdf?

tested-
1.) jsLib is currently only available up to 0.10 while this extension wishes to
be compatible with 1.0
2.) Another problem is, as the author says in comment 5, Firefox doesn't
properly handle require tags in the install.rdf files. Looking at
http://www.bengoodger.com/software/mb/extensions/packaging/extensions.html Ben
states that this is still in development.

So, to the author: bring down your maxVersion to .10. After that's done, it's
Wolf's call as to what to about this.

As stated, neither the database nor the application currently support dependency
requirements. Please reopen once jsLib has updated. You may want to file a bug
against jsLib at http://jslib.mozdev.org/bugs.html
