* Bug 99742 [MailNews Core]: requests AAC into a single globally defined AB + per-account checkbox for participating in AAC or not * Bug 266803 [Thunderbird]: requests AAC into different ABs defined per-account * Bug 264005 [Seamonkey]: same as Thunderbird bug AB = address book AAC = automatic address collection
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040927 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040927 The address book into which outgoing addresses are now collected is set in Edit|Preferences|Addressing, which is global for all accounts. The setting function should be moved to Account Settings, so that each account can have addresses saved into a different address book. If I want to later send to all or most of the collected addresses, I don't want the recipients for different accounts saved into the same address book. Different accounts have their own proper recipients that need to be kept separated. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

That seems fair, if Mozilla is going to be serious about multiple accounts....

This needs to be kept active and fixed. Right now the only workaround seems to be to open multiple user accounts, each with it's own Mozilla-Thunderbird directory trees and address book files. That shouldn't be necessary.

Ok, but this is actually a duplicate of the core address book bug 99742, therefore I'm marking it as such. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 99742 ***
