found using 2004101209-0.9+ on linux fedora core 2. on Linux, nothing opens when
clicking show location button in Download manager.

1. make sure you have items previously downloaded. also make sure that in
Download prefs that you have selected "Save all files to this folder" --in my
case I took the default location (Desktop).

2. open the Downloads manager dialog.

3. at the bottom of the dialog, click the button link (in my case it says
"Desktop") next to the "All files downloaded to" text.

expected: in the past this would open another browser window with a file listing
of the download folder.

actual results: nothing opens. get the following JS error:

Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code:
0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsILocalFile.reveal]"  nsresult: "0x80004005
(NS_ERROR_FAILURE)"  location: "JS frame ::
chrome://mozapps/content/downloads/downloads.js :: onDownloadShowFolder :: line
770"  data: no]

couldn't find an existing bug on this, but pls dup/reassign as needed.
hm, is this the same as bug 239948?
don't think this is a regression, since a 7/13 build also exhibits this problem.
(n/a in firefox 0.9, since the d/l mgr didn't have this feature then.)

This is not on Windows, but is on Mac. I'd say it's a dupe. But the JS errors
aren't quite the same. Similar, but not identical. Perhaps that's a difference
in Linux to Mac?
Tracy, that's strange: this feature works for me on Mac.

okay, this works now. the only hitch is that the file manager opens to my home
dir instead of the Desktop dir --but I think that's bug 241245. marking
