User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1

When I attempt to send outgoing email, I successfully connect to the server but
cannot continue sending the mail. The moving green bar continues indefitinitely
and when i cancel I am told to check my account settings. They are correct.
However, I can receive mail. What is the problem? I shut down all my Norton
Security and Anti-Virus programs, but still cannot send mail. I am, however,
able to send mail through Outlook Express.protection

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Write email
2. Send email
3.

Actual Results:
I receive a notice that I have connected to server but nothing happens after that.

Expected Results:
Sent the email and put a copy in the sent folder.
I have noticed this issue as well except it occurs when I am composing more than
1 email - in other word, the issue occurs when 2 or more compose windows are open.
Same happened here in Linux with TB 1.0.2.
I had 4 compose windows opened and tried to send an email on one of those.
I got no response from smtp server as well.
So I saved my drafts, closed all of them, closed TB and reopened it.
Tried to send the same email once again and still got no response.
I created a new Thunderbird account (on another user) and was able to send an
email through the same SMTP server.
So I came back to TB, tried again without success.
Finally, I changed my smtp server, restarted TB and tried again to send the email.

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a

(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.
