2 things:
first, when I normally google things I get a google list and middle click
several links to open that url up in new tabs. then I go from tab to tab
searching for the keywords. before firefox .10 I was able to hit the / key then
type in my words. I could then close the tab and hit ctrl+g (find next) in a
new tab and search for the same word. I could do this for as many tabs as I had
open without retyping the string I wanted to search for in each tabbed window.
with this new type ahead window that pops up at the bottem of the screen, I
can't do it anymore. it's driving me nuts, not the window at the bottom, but
retyping my search string at each tab.
second, is there a way to turn off this window, I was perfectly content to not
have it there and it's getting in the way more than it's helping.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
open up several tabs and search for a string on that tab, close the tab and hit
ctrl+g in the new tab. the find window pops up instead of finding the string.
Actual Results:
you shouldn't have to retype in the string again.
Expected Results:
it should find the string you previously searched for.
