I wan to use my Netscape 4.71 bookmarks as my home page but Firefox tries to
open http://program%20files/Netscape/Users/psteier/bookmark.htm . If I past the
URL in the address bar it opens fine.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select Tools->Options
2. Enter the URL of a local HTML file in the General/Home Page/Location(s): item
3. Hit OK
4. Hit the Home icon or Select Go->Home

Actual Results:
Tries to display a bogus URL created using the supplied file name

Expected Results:
Rendered the HTML file
Firefox uses the vertical bar to separate multiple home pages that open in
separate tabs, but doesn't object to a colon after the drive letter:
file:///c:/whatever works just fine.
