It d be nice if the news reader could allow to 'delete' news messages ;
I know that nntp server do not allow to remove messages normally, but some time
there are boring messages

If i could delete them, I d be happy not to see them any more, and optionally
not to see the answers to that message

This feature request makes more sens when you consider threads : If a thread is
very verbose, but do not interest me, it d be great never to get warned about
new messages in it.

***

Other wise it would be great if I could move some message in a special 'nntp
folder' and see answers to that message apear in the same folder ... this d be
an alternative to bookmarking.

***

A partial alternative to that would be the use of bookmarks or folders ... looks
like those sfeatures are already in the request queue ...

How about the already working feature "ignore Thread" ?

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a

you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
