Email plain-text display screws up tabs, line breaks, rendering plain
text email, ASCII graphics, etc. almost completely unusable.

PLEASE provide a way to turn this "feature" off. Just show the 
characters as they are in the data. Don't try to be clever.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.send an email to yourself with tab data or program code with indents etc.

Duplicate is about the "problem" with line breaks.
Bug 144230 is about the quite legitimate problem with tabs.
