Details

ChanServ would obviate the need to IRCops to op people in channels that lose ops
for whatever reason, and would even allow some folks to pull their bots off the
net, lightening the load on the server.

NickServ would allow people to kill ghosts if they lag out or whatnot, and is a
convinience feature for users.
