I noticed this bug when adding the live bookmarks for The Register.

This is what the feed should look like:
EU approves €1.75bn for tech research

This is what is actually displayed:
EU approves & # 8 3 6 4 ;1.75bn for tech research

It would be nice to have special characters converted. Please note that I put
spaced in between the characters so that it wouldn't be converted when posted.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add a bookmark with special characters in it.
Actual Results:  
EU approves & # 8 3 6 4 ;1.75bn for tech research

Expected Results:  
EU approves €1.75bn for tech research
