Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 I accessed my personal site on which I worked a few days earlier to check the rendering. According to the speed I can tell that Mozilla didn't use the cache on disk, except for a few images which were totally unrelated to my site but came from the cache. I click several times the Reload button but it made no difference. Always the same images came from the cache. I had to clear entirely the cache in order that Mozilla finaly loads the correct images. My cache settings: 96 Mo Compare... Everytime I view the page Link prefetching ON Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Expected Results: I expected Mozilla to get the images from the web instead of picking random images in the cache.

sounds like your cache was corrupted somehow. did you happen to run two copies of mozilla at the same time, using the same mozilla disk cache? if so, then that would cause this problem. note: you would have had to configure a preference to make two mozilla browser instances use the same cache.

Maybe my cache my corrupted, I don't know and I'll never know. As for running two Mozilla's at the same time, I can't even think about a reason why it would be useful. Tabbed and multi-windowed browsing are enough to get too much of Mozilla on screen. I even think that user profiles are useless. No, I never did and never will.

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter.
