Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)
Build Identifier:

Every time I type in form information such as logging in or searching on a
search engine an error message comes up. It says 'Could not initialize the
browser's security component. The most likely cause is problems with files in
your browser's profile directory. Please check that this directory has no
read/write restrictions and your hard disk is not full or close to full. It is
recommended that you exit the browser and fix the problem. If you continue to
use this browser session, you might see incorrect browser behaviour when
accessing security features'

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try to log in a website
2. Or search on a search engine
3. I get the error message

Actual Results:
I got the error message and it didn't do anything.

Expected Results:
It should have logged me in or searched the search engine.
1. can you include your useragent information (help->about mozilla firefox, 2
last lines)
2. disable your extensions (close/start FF) and see if it works.
here is my user agent info thing

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001
Firefox/0.10.1
did you uninstall all extensions to see if those cause the problem ?
yea i didn't have any extensions in the first place so that couldn't be the
problem
Did you install Firefox as ADMIN but use it as USER ?
where can i check that?
This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01".

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
Thank you for your help in this matter.
