It would be nice that toolbars had an autohide option. Then you would get a
larger area for the webpage itself. NOTE there is an extension called autohide
for Fx but that works only on fullscreen mode

This is a dupe of bug 126718, although that one only mentions the toolbar for the full-screen mode.

I don't think I can see a case where this will work well in non-fullscreen mode (i.e. non-screen-edge targets are hard).
