264623 - Firefox 1.0 won't load when I click the icon. It does nothing.

I click on the Firefox icon, it won't bring it up.  I removed Firefox 1.0 and 
reinstalled it with no change.  It just won't work.

C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox
and rename it to 
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefoxold

I have Win98....I can't find C:\Documents and Settings!!!!!

Try this:

1) Uninstall Firefox
2) Check that C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox is gone, if not delete it.
2) Go to C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Mozilla
3) Rename Firefox
4) Install Firefox

See if that works.
