User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1 When I play a windows media player file, the plugin does not actually play the file. At http://media.pc.ign.com/media/682/682732/vids_1.html?ui=gamefinder , it just sits there, and whenever I click on play, nothing happens. At http://www.cmt.com/artists/az/montgomery_gentry/artist.jhtml , it says that I don't even have the plugin installed. I checked to make sure that I had the plugin enabled. I even reinstalled the plugin from the Windows Media site and then reinstalled WMP 10. It still doesn't work. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.go to http://media.pc.ign.com/media/682/682732/vids_1.html?ui=gamefinder 2.open any of the videos in windows media player format. 3.after you wait a while and realize that it's not going to start, push the start button a couple of times. AND 1.go to http://www.cmt.com/artists/az/montgomery_gentry/videos.jhtml 2.select any of the videos 3.it will say that you do not have the plugin installed and gives a link to install WMP which I reinstalled. Actual Results: failer to play file or error message saying that the plugin was not installed. Expected Results: played the media file.

Same problem here. On really every page which tries to play a *.wmv-file the video is not played and a image is shown. Double clicking on the image takes you to the plugin-page at netscape.com and there appears a message that no plugin could be found for my request... Hopefully somebody has a solution for this bug?!? Kindly regards, Martin! :)

Same problem here too. It appears as though the plugin loads because the WMP UI shows up, but it refuses to play no matter how many times I click the play button. I'm using Firefox 1.0. Very annoying bug that should be fixed for FF 1.1.

I was able to use Windows Media Player 10 with Mozilla Firefox 1.0.3, however since upgrading to Firefox 1.0.4 I too am now experiencing this problem. Since upgrading to Mozilla Firefox 1.0.4 I am unable to view live streaming video from the site at <http://www.bigbrother.3mobile.com.au/live.asp>. When I click on the form button that used to open live streaming video on this page, nothing happens. Firefox 1.0.3 however would open a blank browser window and launch the Windows Media Player 10 application in which video would begin to play. I have tried re-installing the entire Windows Media Player 10 application and this has not fixed the problem. I have tried viewing the same content using MS IE 6 and the video streaming starts to play in the Windows Media Player 10 application as expected.
