User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; FreeBSD i386; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041016 Firefox/0.10.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; FreeBSD i386; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041016 Firefox/0.10.1 When I switch on the mentioned website to the Forum and there try to watch the "Forums-Regeln" (on the top of the page -> new window should be shown with Javasricpt) Firefox crashes. The error messages on the console: firefox-bin in free(): error: chunck is already free firefox-bin in free(): error: recursive call Abort trap (core dumped) Kernel: pid 36579 (firefox-bin), uid 0: exited on signal 6 (core dumped) Javascript is activated (also Java, both default settings). I have had the same problems on other sites like www.friendscout24.de, most of this sites uses Javascript (so it seems to be such a problem). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to www.f1total.com 2. switch to "Forum" (on the left site) 3. klick at the top on "Forums-Regeln" Actual Results: As mentioned above firefox completly crashes with the following error messages: firefox-bin in free(): error: chunck is already free firefox-bin in free(): error: recursive call Abort trap (core dumped) Kernel: pid 36579 (firefox-bin), uid 0: exited on signal 6 (core dumped) Expected Results: Run the Javascript and show the window including the "Forums-Reglen" Im using FreeBSD 5.3 Beta 7 with the latest updates (including all system-updates until today). Installed Firefox from the ports yesterday without having it installed before (so it was no update). Using x.org-server 6.7.0_8 and xfce4 version 4.0.6, both installed from ports. Firefox runs with default settings (without any special theme). about:buildconfig Build platform target i386-unknown-freebsd5.3 Build tools Compiler Version Compiler flags cc gcc version 3.4.2 [FreeBSD] 20040728 -Wall -W -Wno-unused -Wpointer-arith -Wcast-align -Wno-long-long -O -pipe -pipe c++ gcc version 3.4.2 [FreeBSD] 20040728 -fno-rtti -fno-exceptions -Wall -Wconversion -Wpointer-arith -Wcast-align -Woverloaded-virtual -Wsynth -Wno-ctor-dtor-privacy -Wno-non-virtual-dtor -Wno-long-long -O -pipe -fshort-wchar -pipe -I/usr/X11R6/include -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -I/usr/X11R6/include Configure arguments --enable-crypto --disable-tests --disable-mailnews --disable-composer --enable-default-toolkit=gtk2 --prefix=/usr/ports/www/firefox/work/fake/lib/firefox --with-system-jpeg=/usr/local --with-system-zlib --with-system-png=/usr/local --with-system-mng=/usr/local --without-system-nspr --with-pthreads --disable-auto-deps --disable-bidi --disable-dtd-debug --disable-jsd --disable-ldap --disable-pedantic --disable-profilesharing --disable-installer --enable-single-profile --disable-profilesharing --enable-image-decoders=png,gif,jpeg,bmp --enable-extensions=cookie,xml-rpc,xmlextras,pref,transformiix,universalchardet,webservices,inspector,p3p,gnomevfs --disable-debug --enable-optimize=-O --enable-strip --disable-logging --enable-xft --disable-gnomevfs

(In reply to comment #0) > When I switch on the mentioned website to the Forum and there try to watch the > "Forums-Regeln" (on the top of the page -> new window should be shown with > Javasricpt) Firefox crashes. Can't find "Forums-Regeln" on the site. Do you mean http://www.f1total.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php ? If so, Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050418 Firefox/1.0+ works OK.

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter.
